Over the last, almost fifty years I have been going to Great Lakes Dragaway – the Grove. I have gone
either as a spectator or a racer. I, like hundreds of thousands, have passed through those gates, and
had a wonderful, safe time. When we formed our group, The Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock
Association, the owners and staff of “The Grove” helped us every step of the way. The racers in our
group, their families and friends, have a great time each time we visit.
I think I can speak for every member, family member, friends of our group and fans, when I say that
we support Great Lakes Dragaway and their staff 100%. We won’t be intimidated or be run off by a
crazy person who chose our “home” track to carry out a senseless act of cowardly violence.
Great Lakes Dragaway will continue to be a first-class race track where everyone comes to have fun
and spend time with their family and friends.
The senseless act of violence that happened this past Sunday had nothing to do with the grove.
Please consider forwarding this message to all those who are friends of Great Lakes Dragaway.
Randy, Marcel, Claire and their staff need to know that we all support them.
May God Bless all of you and your families.
